Roller production
The robust steel rollers for the ROLLANT balers are a distinguishing feature of CLAAS. They consist of a profiled steel sheet-metal casing having the best delivery characteristics and multiple support plates, which ensure the strength.
A manufacturing centre produces the rollers fully automatically from the individual parts. This system was conceived and built by CLAAS Manufacturing Engineering in Beelen. CLAAS looks back on an experience of over 1.5 million rollers produced in Metz.
